GET “The Remedy”

If you’re out there in the world you’re going to run into life on life’s terms, other people and yourself.  At times you’ll be left with frustration, anger, resentment and the like, that’s just the way it is.  I have found that it’s effective to have a plan in place mentally, BEFORE I experience these emotions.  The plan serves as a target or reference point to balance from when I get bothered.  The MINDSET that has been the most effective for me to step into is GRATITUDE.  Being grateful is it’s own reward, it’s creates a different view of everything in an instant.  Below are a few techniques I use to STEP INTO an attitude of gratitude.

  • Keep it simple…List the basics that you have and stop looking at “WHAT YOU DON’T HAVE.”
  • Think of your family and friends…What they mean to you and you to them.
  • Think of what you can learn about yourself…In the moment.
  • Realize that you have the power to give a great gift…Make someone smile.

There is always something to be grateful for…You just have to be willing to look.  At first it may seem difficult to produce a gratitude list on the spot.  You’re just not used to it!  Practice over time has things become natural.  With consistency GRATITUDE will become a natural MINDSET for you.
